Call for Contributors to the 2023 Festival now open!

Have you missed having interesting conversations with members of the public about your research? Would you like to run activities that engage children, young people and families right across Nottinghamshire? Do you have a new idea for an activity that you’ve not tried out before?

Then you’re in luck! The Festival of Science and Curiosity’s Call for Contributors is now open!

We’re looking for people who can deliver activities as part of our two-week festival next year, taking place Monday 6 – Friday 17 February. Whether you’d like to work with pupils in schools, welcome a group out to your site, write an article for our festival magazine or get out to community venues across the county to share your research with families, we’d like to hear from you. The festival programme is welcome to people from all subjects, not just traditional ‘science’, so if you think there’s something in your work that will ignite children’s curiosity, then please get in touch. If you’d like to take part, but you’re not quite sure what you could do, then get in touch with us and we’ll work with you to develop something creative and engaging.

Interested?

The first thing to do is have a read of our Call for Contributors document, and then submit your idea through our online form. We’ll get back to you to discuss the next steps for how you can be involved.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
