Marble Maths Workshop at Mansfield Woodhouse Library

In “Marble Maths,” children will step into the realm of equations, variables, and problem-solving through the innovative use of scales and marbles.

During these hands-on sessions from Maths Blast, participants will immerse themselves in interactive activities where they’ll explore algebraic concepts by visually and physically balancing equations with sets of scales and marbles. By manipulating the marbles on the scales, kids will not only grasp key algebraic terms but also develop a deep understanding of how variables interact in linear equations.

Suitable for all ages and booking is essential. When booking your tickets, please include all adults and children attending. There are two workshops, the first is 10am – 10.45am and the second is 11am – 11.45am.
