Plant Along

Join plant scientist Dr Sina Fischer from the University of Nottingham as we conduct our own plant science experiment.

To take part in the event you’ll need:

• Several pots – you can use empty yoghurt pots or egg cartons
• Something to grow on – you can use cotton wool, tissue paper, soil from a garden
• Seeds – you can use anything you like, including pips from food you’ve eaten, dried seeds, or seeds you’ve found outside
• Something to change the conditions – you could use salt, pepper or herbs
